An independent review into allegations of misconduct against the Revd Jonathan Fletcher has been conducted and made public by the UK’s only safeguarding charity, Thirtyone:8. Fletcher was minister at Emmanuel, Wimbledon from 1982 – 2012. It is reported that 98 people were interviewed and that the report is nearly 150 pages in length.
The un-redacted document focuses on the activities of Fletcher while he was minister of Emmanuel, and examines both the good practice and the failings in culture and safeguarding practice at the Church from 1982 to the present.
The Telegraph has printed a number of stories on the matter in recent months.
