English Churchman Columnist Named to Crown Nominations Commission
Miss Prudence Dailey MBE Elected
Miss Prudence Dailey MBE, columnist for the English Churchman and long-term member of the General Synod from Oxford Diocese was elected to serve on the Crown Nominations Commission for the 2022-2027 term. Miss Dailey also served as the Chair of Prayer Book Society which celebrates its 50th Anniversary this October.
Dailey was one of six members of the laity chosen for the position.
The Crown Nominations Commission is responsible for choosing suitable replacements when there is a vacancy in a bishopric.
