Ozanne to take Sabbatical Strange to Substitute
Ms Jayne Ozanne, founder and Director of the LGBT activist organisation the Ozanne Foundation, has announced that she is to take a sabbatical. Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church, Mark Strange, will take over her responsibilities until she returns.
Ozanne was appointed by the Archbishops of both Provinces as a member of the Archbishops’ Council in 1999. She penned a memoir, Just Love, after she announced she was a homosexual in 2009. She has been a vocal member of the General Synod since 2015.
Ozanne said she will use her sabbatical to “write, reflect and discern the best way forward for the Ozanne Foundation.”
Bishop Strange will oversee the strange and erroneous doctrines promulgated by the Ozanne Foundation until its founder returns.
According a Tweet by Ozanne, Strange “co-chairs our @GlobalComLGBT & helped @JayneOzanne set up the Inclusive Bishops Group at the #Lambeth Conference.”
