Annual Clive West Memorial Lecture Set for Belfast

Annual Clive West Trust Lecture Set for Belfast

The 2022 Clive West Trust Lecture will take place on Thursday, 22 November at St Nicholas’ Church on the Lisburn Road in Belfast at 19:30.

This year’s featured speaker is the Revd Dr Tim Ward.  Ward earned his PhD from the University Aberdeen. He teaches at Oak Hill College where he lectures on Biblical Interpretation and Word Ministry.

Before his move to Oak Hill, he was involved in pastoral ministry.  He is the author of, Words of Life: Scripture as the Living and Active Word of God.

The annual lectures are named after the late clergyman Clive West.  For decades, West played a key part in encouraging the biblically faithful within the Church of Ireland.  He was a mentor to many young clerical colleagues and the Trust was established after his death in 2014.

Parking for the occasion is next door to St Nicholas’ Church at 1 Cadogan Park, Belfast, BT9 6HG.
