Law & Politics
Dear Sir,
The historian Robert Conquest posited a law about politics, that the simplest way to explain the behaviour of any bureaucratic organisation is to assume that it is controlled by a cabal of its enemies.
Can this ‘law’ explain the Church establishing a £100 million fund to “address past wrongs of slavery” and the College of Bishops’ plans to bless same-sex relationships?
Yours,
Michael Andrews
